Fried Castle Hotel and Restaurant **** Simontornya

The Fried Castle Hotel is the winner of the hungarian "Hotel of the Year Award" for 2011 and won the title of "The Most Beautiful Hotel of Hungary" in October 2010.

A real pearl awaits you close to Lake Balaton, in a small town in Tolna county, in Simontornya. The wonderful castle, built in Secession style, is an ideal place to relax for those who like peaceful environment.
Fried Castle Hotel can be found in the heart of a several hectare large French castle park, which is surrounded by wine slopes, forests and beautiful landscapes.
Fried Kastélyszálló and Restaurant became a real Lord Land during the last decade. Besides the already existing castle building and the hunting lodge, from the spring of 2011 we are apt to satisfy the demands of our guests with our brand new Lily wing and with the Wellness-Fitness Centre.

Three buildings, three moods - the Castle, the Lily Wing and the Hunting Lodge:
The rooms of the Castle Hotel have an atmosphere of the bygone times. The original oak parquetry and the hand graven pieces of furniture, made of bay and rose wood, are unique in Hungary and even in Europe. In the hall, passing by the marble fireplace, in the foot of the stares dragon motives invites the guests upstairs, where two elegant, enormous carved thrones can be found.

The rooms of the brand new wing of Fried Kastélyhotel Simontornya, named Lily, are coated with wonderful anti allergic bamboo parquetry and equipped with the most modern wall cooling-heating system. Lily, as a symbol returns in the wellness department and you can find this motive several places in the building.

In the Hunting Lodge, which is on the slopes, besides the rooms you can find our Trophy Restaurant, which is ideal place for receptions of smaller groups or for family celebrations, in a hunting mood.

In the Wine Cellar of Fried Castle Hotel you can taste the castle wines and palinkas.
On the Panorama Wine Terrace you can have a grill party.
In addition to their very own fine wines which are matured in oak barrels, the wines of viticulturists from the most renowned wine regions in the country can be found in our wine shop.

Our 1st category restaurant offers traditional Hungarian dishes and international specialities and it is possible to have half board meals.

In the Wellness-Fitness Centre of Fried Castle Hotel our guests can choose from various wellness services: outdoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, fitness room, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, steam cabin, aroma tepidarium, tropical experience shower, therapeutic and massage rooms.
In the summer season a heatable outdoor pool with an unrivalled panorama, a slide and neck massaging awaits tired guests in hope of regeneration after the week's exertions. Beside the pool is the romance and individual beauty of the castle, above it the tranquillity and atmosphere of the vineyard hill, in front the sight of the Sio river. On the neighbouring sunbathing terrace those resting in the jacuzzi can share a similar sight and experience.
We offer a wide range of massages, these offer total rejuvenation and relaxation for the guests.

Fried Castle Hotel has banqueting halls, which are ideal venues for family and business events. In the Lily wing of the Castle Hotel a new ball hall can be found, which has a maximum capacity of 200 persons.

For the little ones there is a playground and an animal petting area in the garden.
